Our spring programming continues by celebrating World Cider Day (June 2) with a whole weekend of cider learning on June 2 and 3! Book a tour with us for a special edition of Cider 101. Learn how to detect tannins, discover the nuances in different cider styles and apple varieties, and impress your friends with a whole new cider-centric vocabulary.
The second installment of our First Thursday Markets on June 7 will center around a vintage flea market theme. Join us from 6-8pm. Local musician Brian Mulder will be on-site providing tunes.
Saturday, June 9, we'll be celebrating National Rosé Day at Virtue Cider. Celebrate cider-style, with our Virtue Cider Rosé at the farm. You can get our Rosé cider on draft, a glass of our frozé, buckets of Rosé cans, and enjoy it all in on our 48-acre setting.
Father's Day is also around the corner. Virtue Cider has a special treat for dads and dad-types all weekend long. On Saturday, June 16, local barber Sharp Corners (Grand Rapids, MI) will be on-site giving haircuts and beard trims from 4-6pm! Also enjoy a father-friendly Virtue Cider pork cookout from 2-6pm, and Michigan Brut features all weekend that you can enjoy on our outdoor cider house lawn.
In celebration of the Summer Solstice (June 21), we're throwing a Garden Party at the farm all weekend long on June 23 and 24. We'll have a Maypole and mid-summer fun, outdoor games, bucket specials, picnic-perfect sandwiches that you can enjoy on the lawn, or grab a shady spot on our 48-acre property.
And to close out June, our Farm Tunes series of open-air concerts continues with special guest Laraaji on Saturday, June 30. Music begins at 7pm. Ambient, new-age, rhythmical multi-instrumentalist Laraaji was discovered by Brian Eno while playing in Washington Square Park. We are also working on a pre-concert outdoor yoga session to make June 30 a full mind-and-body experience.
