October Events at Virtue Cider

It's the most wonderful time of the year at Virtue! It’s officially autumn, the apples are arriving from our local farmers, and we've started pressing in our cider house. We have lots of fall-themed fun to usher in cooler temps, and we'll be throwing our 3rd Annual Apple Fest on Saturday, Oct. 20. This year we will have the whole day dedicated to a live music lineup featuring five regional acts, food, apple-themed games, cider house tours, and Percheron-led cart rides. Grab your tickets for the day, and bring the family!

Here’s our list of October fun at Virtue Cider this month:

·      Our First Thursday Market this week features a pumpkin market and live music from Delilah DeWylde. Join un from 6-8pm on Thursday, Oct. 4.

·      Make like one of our Icelandic sheep at Virtue and walk the grasslands in our field mazes for your chance at hidden treasure from Oct. 5 to 7. We'll sneak some goodies along the way for you to redeem in our Tap Room or Bottle Shop.

·      Join the pumpkin hunt at Virtue Cider on Oct. 5 to 7! We'll have pumpkins hiding all around our 48 acres with various prizes written on each one.

·      Each Friday in October we're screening a cult classic movie on our lawn as a "double feature" alongside a featured cider from our Tap Room.

·      In honor of the Fennville Goose Festival Oct 12-14 2018 our farm will transform into a pop-up gallery on Oct. 13 and 14 with works supporting the theme of "Birds In Flight."

·      Be brave and discover the haunted trails at Virtue Cider with our tour guide just after dusk from Oct. 25-28. What secrets do these woods keep? Find out, if you dare!

·      Dress in your Halloween best for our annual costume contest ahead of the Douglas Halloween Parade on Oct. 27!

Our Tap Room and Bottle Shop are open Sunday through Thursday, noon to 7pm, and Friday and Saturday from noon to 8pm (and a little later when we have events). After Oct. 21, we will move to winter hours of Wednesday-Sunday, noon-7pm. Thinking of holiday parties? You can also book a tour or private event with us online.
