Virtue Cider Wassail
We're toasting in the holiday season with a special new small-batch cider inspired by cider history. We collaborated with our friends at Devils Backbone Brewing Company to create Virtue Cider Wassail, so named for the English tradition of “wassailing,” the Medieval English ritual intended to ensure a good apple harvest the following year.
This cider is a blend of last year's juice aged in Bourbon barrels for several months, mulled cider, and fresh-pressed juice from this year's apple harvest. Perfect for celebrating, and we're donating a portion of proceeds from Wassail sales to the Allegan County Food Pantry from the Bridge in Allegan. We'll tap this exclusively at our Tasting Room in Fennville on 11/9. 7.5% ABV. Draft only, and on 'till it's gone. Wassail!
