Arbor Day Planting - Chicago Edition

  • Lonesome Rose (starting point) 2101 North California Avenue Chicago, IL, 60647 United States (map)

In observation of Arbor Day, we are once again hosting simultaneous horticultural celebrations across the Great Lakes region in honor of the trees!

We will be planting our "volunteer trees" - saplings that sprout from pomace that was spread around our acreage - at a few places in Chicago! Our pomace (leftovers from pressing apples) includes apple seeds, so inevitably some trees will sprout! We have several that are transportable and transplantable, so we will be making them available at our upcoming Arbor Day celebration on April 27.

RSVP at the ticket link to volunteer to help plant these trees at the following locations then share a pint with friends, with a hybrid planting-and-bar-crawl!

Lonesome Rose (12pm)
Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits (1pm - not a bar, but a snack stop!)
Middle Brow Beer Co. (2pm)
Parson's Chicken & Fish - Logan Square (3pm)
...more to come!

21+ only, please.
