PLANTING TREES FOR EARTH DAY AND ARBOR DAY

PLANTING TREES FOR EARTH DAY AND ARBOR DAY

Arbor Day, or “Tree Day”  is a celebration of trees that is right around the corner. We celebrate the process of planting and growing year round, but it’s specially valued on this day. Trees are crucial as they provide us with oxygen, wildlife preservation, and more. At Virtue Cider, we are especially fond of trees because they are truly the most virtuous living thing there could be for cidermaking. Not only do they grow apples that we use in our ciders, they are also the first step in our process.

This year, we’re celebrating Arbor Day with a special cider; Arbory. For every bottle of Arbory sold, a tree will be planted in Roy Creek, Michigan thanks to our partners at One Tree Planted, an organization that plants trees all over the world. Purchase Arbory on Earth Day, April 22nd so you have it to enjoy on Arbor Day, April 29th.

Arbory has notes of dried fruit, apricot, and honey. Pour it into a stemmed wine glass and pair it with greens and salmon. This still cider is 7.9% ABV (alcohol by volume).

Celebrate Arbor Day at Virtue Farm

The first 10 people that purchase Arbory at Virtue Farm from April 22nd to 24th will get a seedling to take home and plant. The seeds come from leftover pomace from cidermaking and once planted, grow to become saplings for apple trees to expand our orchard.
