July Events at Virtue Cider

Summer's in full swing and we are taking visitors on a cider sojourn all July long.

On July 4, we are open noon to 7pm, and will be staying open a bit longer for fireworks after dusk. Bring a blanket and join us!

The First Thursday Market is back on July 5 from 6-8pm featuring a woodworking theme and live music by Hayes Griffin and Nate Roberts.

We are celebrating worldwide ciders in July, with each weekend focusing on a different region. July 7 and 8 we'll pay tribute to the great cidermaking region of Asturias, Spain, on the occasion of the annual Festival de la Sidra!

July 14 and 15 we will highlight French-style ciders, including our Lapinette and Percheron. Enjoy cider flights, Bastille Day fireworks, and an on-site crepe stand.

Also, on the occasion of Bastille Day on July 14, we welcome Grand Rapids-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Olivia Mainville to the Virtue Cider stage for our next outdoor concert. She'll be playing a special solo set of French chansons. Music begins at 7pm.

July 21 and 22 we will featuring ciders that pay homage to the proper farmhouse ciders of England. Stop by our Tasting Room all weekend long for cider flights, hand pies, and more! Chin chin!

July 28 and 29 is American Cider Weekend, showcasing the new world of craft ciders, including our Michigan Series of cider. We'll have an all-American cookout with sausages and burgers, so stop by for the perfect pairing of cider and food.

Our Tasting Room, Bottle Shop, and farm are open seven days a week from noon to 7pm, and we offer tours on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, and 5:30pm. Sign up in advance or in person in the Tasting Room. We also offer more personalized cider experiences with a suite of hospitality packages. Click here to plan your special event!
