Chicago is hosting its first Cider Week, February 3-11 to highlight, promote, and inform the community about where and how to enjoy Chicago’s many cider offerings. This week-long festival leads up to the annual Cider Summit on Feb. 11, and is a unique opportunity to spend time with and learn from makers, growers, and cider drinkers.
Chicago is full of cider, and it's the city where we launched Virtue Cider to the public. It's our second home after our ciderhouse in Fennville, Michigan. Chicago also has a bar fully dedicated to cider, The Northman, and there are many great restaurants and bars with excellent ciders to choose from.
We often get to bring our proper farmhouse cider made with Michigan apples to our neighbors in the Midwest, and we're excited to be celebrating this fantastic beverage by taking part in this first official Chicago Cider Week.
