When it's officially fall, it's officially time for the Virtue Cider Apple Fest!
We welcome cider season with our inaugural Apple Fest, a four-day celebratory cider-filled affair at our farm.
Join us on any day for a variety of activities centered around apples, the harvest season, and the release of Percheron, our cider named for the traditional draft horses of Normandy that pulled carts of apples for cidermakers.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 5-8pm:
Our Thursday Night Market is our Apple Fest kick-off. Join us from 5-8pm for our weekly market featuring fall items from area makers and local farms. This is the official release for Percheron, our cider made in homage to the Norman-style cidre fermier. We will also have live music and food available for all.
Market vendors include (subject to change):
Slows BBQ | Mud Lake Farm | Kismet Bakery | Spicy Crazy Cottage | Face Painting with Catlin Nell | Parliament the Boutique | Mulder Studios | Fresh Coast Candles | Grace Goswick Ceramics | Shannon McDevitt
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 7pm:
It's Barbecue Night! Starting at 7pm, come by the farm for locally created barbecue from our culinary team, live music on the lawn from Bone Jugs.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1, noon-7pm:
Celebrate the first day of October on our farm for a day of family-friendly fun! Traditional Percheron draft horses will be on-site for horse-drawn cart rides. Outdoor games and activities for kids will be going all day long.
Need a ride? We're hosting a single, round-trip shuttle from Chicago to Fennville for Saturday, Oct. 1 only. Click here to learn more!
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2pm:
Calling all cycling fans! Sunday Funday takes the form of a gravel fondo in Allegan County. Our friends at Velo City are organizing a long-distance ride in two lengths leaving from Virtue Farm at 2pm. Click here for tickets and more information.
Even if you're not biking, join us in the afternoon for food from our culinary team, and live music on our lawn.
